BREAKING: Chukwu, NTA Staff in Kogi stoned to death
Nigeria getting more and more security disposed of daily where both the poor and rich, including the safety personnel are not sure of second minutes.
A piece of developing news has revealed a staff with National Television Authority in Kogi State identified as Chukwu Odiahu is reported killed by yet to ascertained hoodlums.
Odiahu who severs at the Engineering Department, NTA Boaster Station was said to be stoned on Tuesday evening after work closure within Okene and he died instantly.
At the time of filing the report, the cause and what led to his demise was not painted out, however, staffs appeared to be his colleagues were apprehended for questioning at the Okene Divisional Police Force, a close source revealed the ugly incident to media.
The statement by the eyewitness read; ” It is very unfortunate we all woke up this morning to see the death of one of our colleagues under the engineering department.” noting after the closing of work and day transmission around 10 Pm on Tuesday Odiahu left office premises with them only to resume “Unfortunately this morning, (Wednesday), we discovered his corpse that he was killed with stones by some persons who we do not know.“
The diseased was described as a gentleman committed to his work. “He died a horrible death”.
Efforts to reach DSP William Ovye Aya, the Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) was abortive including calls and messages were not responded to.
