Boko Haram Terrorists kill 45 troopers in Borno Ambush

Boko Haram insurgents reportedly overran and killed at the least forty-five troops in Alargano Forest, Borno State,

According to SaharaReporters, Alargano is said to be the “spiritual” operation base of the terrorist group.

A high army source stated that units comprising of 120 battalion soldiers, 121 battalion soldiers, Artillery units and Sector 2 troops have been ambushed when on a mission to degrade a Boko Haram camp within the forest.

Over 40 troopers and 5 officers have been killed within the assault.

Many troopers are nonetheless reported missing within the mission.

Equipment together with 105mm Artillery Gun, an M-21 Grad 9K51, MLRS 122mm a number of launch rocket system have been destroyed by the terrorists, Sahara Reporters reports.
