Speaking during a joint press briefing on Friday, 9 April 2021, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) stated that both leaders successfully met despite frustrating forces.
Kanu noted both agreed to do everything humanly possible to begin the process of eventual reclaiming of long shared heritage and change the historic narratives.
He said those benefiting from the misery and pains of both yet-to-be-named nations tried not to allow the meeting and identification but they were defeated.
Historically both have traced back to the beginning of time to recognize Southern Nigeria and Southern Cameroon, Kanu noted.
He said that Genetics and DNA have affirmed that both entities are the oldest DNA on planet earth. The earliest builders of cultures to planet earth known to archeologists and anthropologists are the Banjus people of Africa originated from the regions of Biafra and Ambazonia.
