Adeyanju Deji, the Nigerian based human rights activist has cautioned the general public on how they consume information from the 13th time award-winning media giant, Channels Television.
Deji, who was the convener of a social group ‘Our Mumu Don Do” shared on his Facebook official page on Wednesday, accused the media outlet of doing bids of President Mohammadu Buhari’s led government.
The founder of ‘Concerned Nigerians’ queried why the founder of the best Nigerian Television station allowed Buhari to destroy brand it took years to build.
Deji, who regretted reason behind the sudden change of the media group, said ‘unbelievable’, noting that the president and its government Will soon fade away but it is difficult to win the same patronage from Nigerians again.
However, Deji advised the general public to hook up with country’s based media, National Television Authority for their media publicity business than on Channelstv.
His post read: “It is better to appear on NTA than on ChannelsTV. How they allowed their founder -a Buharist destroy a brand it took years to build is unbelievable?
“Buhari will soon be out of power & they will want to be taken seriously yet again.”
Though, the activist came under attack by some followers accused him of working with the opposition party, People’s Democratic Party while the majority supported his claim.
