The Bayelsa State Vigilante Service has again apprehended another syndicate, who is involved in various criminal activities along Tombia and other parts of the state capital.
Chairman, Evangelist Parkins Ogede, while parading the suspect before newsmen said, Mr. Henry Ebikeme, 26 had been on the wanted list of the service for over seven months.
According to him, the suspects and his cohorts had been terrorizing Tombia, Kpansia and Igbogene market areas, stressing that, the service is still trailing other accomplices to face justice.
Evangelist Ogede, who used the medium to warn youths not to engage in acts inimical to the growth of society, adding that, the service under his watch has intensified efforts aimed at eradicating crimes in the state.
Assuring Bayelsans of his total commitment to the enthronement of peace, Evangelist Ogede further enjoined the people to assist government in it’s quest to move the state forward.
The suspect, who was caught snatching mobile phones, jewelries, cash and other valuables from unsuspecting members of the public through false pretence is now cooling off with the police.
The Vigilante Chairman was however represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Hilary Ajap.
