Asari admits deploying killers to Southeast
Asari Dokubo has finally responded to reported claims of killing seventy armed men in his camp. The self-acclaimed leader of the Biafra de facto customary government, Asari Dokubo, refuted the claim by Chinasa Nworu, the member of IPOB’s Directorate of State noting a lot of his loyalists were slain by some unknown armed men in Imo state lately.
The Nworu, who spoke on Radio Biafrans last week claimed that the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, hired Dokubo to fight IPOB and its armed wing, ESN.
He further stated Dokubo trained a good number of his boy, fixed them on one-hundred and fifty thousand (N150, 000) month-to-month allowance, and despatched about 79 of them to attack IPOB/ESN within the forest.
According to Chinasa Nworu, the unknown gunmen responded positively killing a lot of Dokubo’s armed men which prompting the former militant leader to flee to Benin Republic.
However in a Facebook Live Stream followed by Politics Nigeria on Wednesday, Dokubo said he instead, killed IPOB and ESN gunmen.
Dokubo, in his words, briefly “It’s a lie. No single boy of mine died. It is your people (IPOB) that I sent to Satan (killed), their master”
He continued, implicated the ESN to had attacked soldiers: “Your people know. All of them know how they run past their houses, past their forest. So they danced and went to attack Nigerian Army at Ihiala (in Anambra state).”
However, no confirmation was made privately by any journalists as at the time of filing this report.
