Angry Youths Stone On Atiku In Abeokuta Amidst Security Presence (Video)
Few days to wrap up the 2022/2023 electioneering in Nigeria, some electorates, who appear to be dissatisfied, are currently passing wrong signal to candidates ahead of the February scheduled poll.
A retrieved clip by scanned News suggests the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, was openly stoned by some youths in Abeokuta.
The video, which has a recorded voice noted that the voters’ action shows the serial presidential aspirant is being rejected in Ogun State.
It further indicates a number of youngsters armed with Stones and sticks running after security convey.
The security personnel were seen speeding away from the scene in their numbers as the mobs tried to register their anger.
However, until the time of filing the report, no record of casualty was ascertained as the security men were heavily armed to the teeth.
The country’s nationwide election is scheduled to begin 25th of February starting with the presidential race.
Eligible voters are encouraged to exercise their rights peacefully as the electoral umpire makes way for who becomes the next president.
