Aged mother on Biafra regalia embarks on lone protest, causes traffic in Onitsha (Video)
A yet-to-be-identified aged woman has embarked on a lone protest on Owerri – Onitsha axis over a recent clampdown on aged parents wearing Biafra-related regalia.
This is coming two days after comic Nollywood veteran and father, Chiwetalu Agu was apprehended by the men of Nigeria military at Upper Iweka for rocking similar attire.
The determined but irritated and emotional woman sighted in viral footage stormed a security checkpoint to register her anger.
She bitterly expressed of plot in Igboland by non-indigenes trying to deny owners of land the right to wear their choice of clothes.
Speaking with Igbo dialect in response to armed soldiers pleading with her to clear off the road “what you are saying is breaking my head because you are not a Biafran.
“You’re saying I should walk away from Biafraland to where? To where exactly? This is not acceptable to tell me to get up and walk away from my land.
She continued to air in anger as the armies step out in disappointment.
Meanwhile, the movie icon, Agu was released from military custody following wide reactions by Nigerians and afterward rearrested by mn of the Department of State Security.
A statement by the police unit said Agu was handed over to them for further investigation.
